Congradulations Derek "slow 94"
Derek entered Charleston Southern this year to play baseball but had shoulder injury that kept him from playing the field.His ability with the bat earned him a starting position as a designated hitter.Since the season has ended, he has been awarded with a few achievments that I'd like to share...He made the "dean's list with honors" that came with added scholarships,yesterday he was given a sizeable sum for an athlectic scholarship that is rare for baseball players,now his school is pretty well paid for..thank God....Derek was honored with a medal in the Big South for "first team-all conference" and today we received news that he made "freshman-all american"..He'll be going in for surgery on his shoulder on Monday and should be in top form for next year...Good job D
