So apparently Eddie Bello (white Porsche) beat UGR's big boy build making over 2000hp and they are trying to deny it and even editing videos to make it look like they didn't lose.
I'm hoping to find some more info and videos but apparently UGR is being shady about the whole thing. Just find it interesting is all. This is the 2nd run, the Porsche was 3 cars back then pulled ahead at the finish line, UGR is claiming they won. ![]() Here's a vid of the Porsche doing a wheelie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaBXppyH_gk And another vid of the fist run against UGR. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-uL0X77WkA |

I don't know all the UGR drama here, but as the saying goes "there will always be someone else faster". Both these cars are very fast. Theres no doubt about it. I doubt that UGR is that worried. I stopped by their shop a few weeks ago and there was 40+ exotic cars waiting to get work done. Business seems good.
The FGT is a very fast car. No doubt about it. All these cars make you wonder where the line is with a street car vs. race car. The line is very blurred these days. |

Racecar vs street car is subjective. It will change day to day, person to person. Therefore it will never be defined.

everyone i know of thats dealt with, or worked for, UGR has said they are a bunch of sketchy fuckers... i know they've lost a number of other races and always edit videos to make it look like they won or that the other person did something out of line...

That's what I'm hearing more and more. They obviously make fast stuff but it sounds like they are very sore losers.

I agree. Who actually determines whats race, and whats street? If you can tag it for the streets, but call it a race car, what is it, really? Here in SC, there is no line, mainly because there is no inspection station to determine weather the car is streetworthy, or not.

Interesting, Eddie claims that he beat them 7 times in a row and lost once due to traction issues because it was cold and he's rwd on 255's, and they're awd on massive tires.

That video looks like they're not running but to the nascar start/finish line. The first video that the Ohio native posted they ran further down the straight. Who knows lol. |
