Why is this so much better than a 9mm Shield that I paid $335 new for?

They are on a different level altogether.

This is the M&P compact model, which is significantly THICKER than the Shield, so it feels much better to people with larger hands. It's also chambered in .357 SIG which is a go-to for lots of people for a defensive round.

The shield is un-useable for me. The thin frame feels weird and awkward to me and to a lot of other people, where a full size is just too big. This weapon fills that void between the two.

This 357 compact also carries a 10+1 capacity (I didn't google, think that's correct), where the shield is what, 7 rounds of 9mm?

Don't want to start the caliber debate, but 7 rounds of 9mm doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy while I'm carrying it. 10 rounds of 357 SIG does, however, make me feel a little better.

Shield is single stack and m&p is double stack that's the thickness dif. And different tier guns.
Possibly open to trades what do you have?

Apex Tactical is THE place to go for M&P goodies. That Apex trigger is worlds ahead of the stock trigger.
