Default 1989 5.0 Hatch 347 C4 4500 obo

Basically yes it was a project (Street/Strip) but it wasnÔÇÖt a BS project I spend serious money on this car and engine so donÔÇÖt try and "low ball" me I know what its worth. I will send pics on request. Serious inquires only

1989 Bimini Blue 5.0 hatchback Mustang with an automatic. The car is complete (with SC Title) and was running with a little smoke on the old 5.0 until it started having fuel sending issues. I replaced the fuel pump but that didnÔÇÖt work. The Interior of the car is in amazing condition for stock and is complete (not gutted) AC, PW, PL, CD and even the hatch struts work!!! The 5.0 engine has a 74mm Mass Air and cobra throttle body. It also has Corba upper and lower intakes, cold air system, duel exhaust with an H pipe, Cobra front springs and rotors and new brakes and struts all around. The body has 2 dents, one in the door and one about the drives side rear wheel, both could be fixed easily and it needs paint. Glass is in good condition but the windshield could be replaced.

The 347 stroker is built to around 420hp at 9.5 to 1 compression and can take up to a 250 shot of nitrous. It was built using a 1970 block so better steel. It was bored and stroked to 347 using an Eagle stroker forged and zero balanced kit. The pistons are wesco forged aluminum custom cut and lowered ring grooves to support up to 250 shot of nitrous without burnout with Molly rings. All the bolts on the block are ARP. The Cam is massive BUT built using all the flow numbers of the heads and intake. It has a 650 lift cam card is available. The heads are GT40 aluminum with a 5 angle valve job and completely gone though and cut with springs to support the 650 cam, 5/16 stud chrome molly roller rockers, valve guide and extreme duty thickened and hardened pushrods. The cam is a roller cam and the lifters are built for blocks that did not come with roller cams form the factory.

The C4 is cleaned up and painted and was pulling when I bought it.

Other things I have that can go with the combo if you wish:
302 Airgap intake
Holley carbs for rebuilding
Electric belt drives
Whatever you might want to build your car.

Any other questions just ask.

4500 OBO

i have a 1989 hatchback lx 5.0 for sale. It currently has a 5.0 with a cobra intake and thottle body. It has a fuel sending issue so it is not running at this time. it has a prety clean interior with a cd player. currently a 5.0 with the AOD still installed. it also has a BBK duel exhuast with a H pipe, cobra front springs new struts and brakes.

the car comes with a pro built 347 stroker with an eagle kit, gt40 heads and a big cam. all work done locally at powerzone in N charleston. the engine includes a set of GT40p FRP stainless shortie headers as well.

it also comes with a C-4 trans and various other gear if you desire.

Im deploying to Iraq so i would like to get ride of it this weekend or alteast in the next 2 weeks. I woul hate for the stroker to sit around while im gone.
