Sweeeeet! It sure is hard to beat an 870 for reliability and simplicity.

It shure is nice to have a tax free weekend for firearms. I participated in this tax free holiday myself today. I picked up a Savage 10FP .308 tactical today for $585. Now, off to spend some more money for a nice piece of glass to go on top of it. I should be able to handle anything out to 800 yards with it when I get done setting it up. I have a feeling that some difficult times are ahead of us and such long range capability may be needed.

semi auto?? Gorgeous man!!! Weve got 3 12 gauges but never shot any of em. I love goin to the range and shootin!! Weve got this beautiful AR180B with a 30 round banana clip and that thing is BAD, but weve also got this H&K and that thing is REALLY BAAADDDDD!!!!!! like that thing left a pretty nice bruise in my shoulder the first time i shot it. We also have a ruger P89, a colt .38 special thats been shot less than 50 times and has been appraised at over 4 grand, a SA .45, a calico 9mm rifle w/ a 50 round and 100 round drum, a smith and wesson 9mm, and several deer rifles even tho we dont hunt, but theyre the cheapest thing we can get to a sniper rifle. Were a gun loving family

My family has never been into hunting but also doesnt have anything against it. This is my First shot gun. I've been asked a few times how someone grows up in Western Ky and never owns a shotgun till now but its true.

Going to take me a little while to get used to this. I'm a handgun man but those ducks are a little hard to hit with a pistol.

Maybe I will have a howitzer to round out my collection before the SHTF.

That way, I can lob some over your house from here to take out the crackheads at that new high school across the street from you!

Love the 12 gauge ! I might add a shotgun one day but don't hunt so I don't really need one , they are fun to shoot though !

I bought this a couple weeks ago .

Sigsauer p226 9 mm with a 15 round clip . I wanted to get a .45 cal but also wanted something my wife could handle without any issues so I decided on this one . I plan on getting a .45 cal gun in the future .

Crappy cell phone picture .

Jeff. I am looking at getting Kristen a Beretta neos dlx 22lr personally. Just like the one pictured with the pink grip as well.

Glock or bust! This is my Glock 22 (.40cal) So far I have the night sights and belt clip, although I really want a surefire light for it. I plan on getting a Springfield XD subcompact (.40 or .45cal of course) for personal protection since the Glock is a bit large when trying to conceal.

I was looking at that Springfield XD .40 but it just looked bigger than I wanted. I am gonna hold out till after the first of the year and pick up a Glock 27.

Nice, a buddy of mine has the glock 23, which is one step down in size from mine and it still seems too big to conceal. I wouldn't mind buying an ar-15 sometime soon.

nice buy brad! wish i knew about this a few weeks ago and i wouldnt have had to pay tax on the new 45!

the glock is a great gun. the only bad news i have heard about those are the 45 versions exploding when fired. i was stuck between the glock and XD but went for the XD because i liked the grip safety in the XD and the XD gear you get with it. you will see the holster it comes with is right handed, i am left handed so i called up SA and they shipped out a lefty paddle holster no charge! otherwise they are the same guns. another good one to look at is the walther P99. very accurate and i have liked it from the start. if you wanna go 1911 without the price tag, check out rock island armory. thats what i just picked up. you can find them from 350 up to 500. they shoot very well and have a great factory warranty. if your lookin for somethin to plink with every once in awhile i would go with that instead of the kimber. below is a pic of their base model GI 45. as with any 1911, you can do anything you want with it. the only thing i plan on doing is sights and an ambi safety (their tactical comes standard like that but its black for around 400-450)
