Default dyno tunning.

How much is normal for dyno tunning? I asked a local shop and it seemed a bit high to me.

Most tuners typically charge $250-$350 for the first hour of tuning, then $150-$200 for every additional hour of tuning.

My tuner charged me a flat rate of $350 I believe maybe $400 regardless of time plus he installed injectors for me. My total bill was $450.

Hi, Magoo! We met on Rivers Ave. right after I got the Shelby! It is good to see another person here that I know!

I had mine done in Anderson at Amazon Tuning Solutions and it ran about $400 I think. I had the tuner and he made four pulls on the dyno.

Hey man! I just posted in your welcome thread and was wondering if you were the same guy I met awhile back. Glad to see you on the forums, what have done to the Shelby since then?

Nothing major, but CAI, pulley and tune got me around 130 hp at the crank. It has no traction so, I'll quit there. I wanted to be able to say 500 on the ground and it passed that a little. No change in the suspension (other than the lower control arms which seem to have stiffened it a little). I'm an old man and I enjoy the comfortable ride!

Sounds like you need some stickier tires. A nice set of BFG's will make that car a totally different animal in first and second gear! With that 2.6 pulley and intake/exhaust that beast is probably mid 500's!
