Took the car for a quick ride yesterday. First time since September of 07 I have driven the car under its own power.
Here are a few videos. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is still on a stock computer and no boost. This thing is going to be an absolute monster. It makes my previous big block car seem like a Hot Wheel car. I have the base tune built I just have to get a new laptop before I can load it. Then just fix the exhaust and a few other things and I'll be set.

No mufflers. That's both down pipes open. They end right about where a set of standard fox long tube headers would stop.

With a good tune and that compression ratio you should be able to safely run around 15 lbs of Boost on 93 octane. Need to keep track of your 02 count and knock retard. I would run a Methenol Injection System (like SMC or Snow) just to be safe. With Meth you can crank up the Boost some more..........It should be a Beast for sure.

I have a wide band to monitor things.. and 15 lbs of boost on this motor will be way more than a stock block can take. I have been looking at an AIS Injection system for a while.. Just no more money right now.

Its not really the bottom end to worry about. It is literally THE BLOCK!

All a stud girdle is good for on a stock 5.0 block is holding the two halves together when it splits. I think RM1 can vouch for this.

![]() ![]() Made some progress today. Cut up and old piece of interior so the texture would match and painted it black with some SEM to match. Already had the guage cage in the dash vent. Also have an AFR gauge that will be on the pillar that hooks up to my wideband.
