helped Lane's friend build his LS3 while i was there also. some of you guys might already know this stuff but in this pic is valve spring helpers. aluminum bars with springs and lifter guide plates help with lifter control
![]() the eccentric cam bushing is something i have never seen before and thought it was an incredable idea. ![]() alot of differences between all the LS motors and there placment of sensors which i dont like and something that you really need to pay attention to if you start mix matching parts. LS install in a RX7

Nice pics man! Everyone asked about you last night. I told them it was Gay Pride week in Alabama. Leroy was mad you didn't invite him.

the best way to learn tuning is to just get out their and do it. make small smalll changes.. see what it does and go from their. anytime u get around someone who knows what they are doing u just absorb the info given and prey u retain everything they show u. everytime i go to my tuner or watch him i am like a puppy... i just beg for more info.. |

well, i think i'm a pretty good carb/ distributer tuner so the principals are already there. Lane made me read a book called Advance Engine Management Sytems. picked up alot from the book. Lane had a basket case 98 camaro with a LS1 that had a bunch off bolt ons that didnt run worth a crap. so yesterday i spent hours upon hours tuning that on the dyno. my bigest problem is just trying to figure out how to get to the screen i want to be on to make changes. Lane makes it look easy but useing the program itself will be my biggest hurdle

Im guessing HP Tuners? EFI Live is a little more indepth but easier to navigate. I own both and still use EFI Live all the time, it has more tables and more resolution.

Yeah that the hardest part, when you now exactly what needs to be changed but just donet know how to translate it over to a table and a value the computer understands. Now after doing daily for 5 yrs its hard for me to work on something old becasue I cant translate it back to doing it the old way, lol. It took me along time to adjust the carb on my boat becasue of that, lol.
