Default hit the track running.

so we hit the track running this weekend. took a good crew of imports and had some fun..

got some video's as well. need to upload them... slowest pass of the day was a 11sec fastest was a 9.7.. the civdogs were pulling 1.4 60ft consistant.
we poped off a best of a 1.1 than a 1.3 than a 1.4 first pass was a 1.5.. new motor new turbo ect ect.. it was stricktly a shake down asses so im not to worried or concerned with the times we ran..
we blew the tires off shifting 2nd gear and 3rd... a few times lookingat the wall..

the yellow thing is a truck from australia... the guy/company is located in ohio... really legit guys.. they are doing shake down runs around the carolinas becasue they are registered for pinks all out next month.. and since the tracks don't open up their for al il he decided to spend it down hear getting things in order.
it is a 2,000whp bbf motor carburated with some big jets.. they pulled the twin turbo setup it was lifting the tires mid track and making it unstable.. ect ect.. they lost 20mph on the big end but gained et. switching over.

needless to say the track was not prepped for crap.. once you got near the 1/8 it was like a ice skating rink.. non of us were able to get a pull pass off all day but they its shake down runs.. ill be posting more import stuff from the track this year hope you all dont mind.. we will be running nscra and got a good cre up imports that want to make things hsappen in the carolinas.. proably making a private day so we can get things straightened out..

not really their are plenty of street civics in the 9's and the drag ones are in the 8's now..

their are street driven evo's with 6765(t3) percision turbos making 8 sec passes with full int... on only 8xx whp.

the import world has come a long way in the last 5 years their are street driven 7 sec cars out their and thats 1/4 mile.. street civics making 9 sec passes and drag civics in the 8's knocking on the 7sec barrier.
