I'll be there hopefully with the new motor. Big ole 4.8 truck motor oh yeah.

I believe the count on s10racer.com is up to 21 or 22 trucks so far. Many have already made Hotel Reservations

What pump are you using? we do not have any issues with the walbro pump. Did you open up the basket to allow more fuel to get to the pump?

Did you do this to yours before you put it back in?

Seriously though, if you chop up the bucket the pump will not be submerged in fuel unless you have more than 1/2 or so of fuel, thus overheating.

Then again, it could be the shitty walbro. They are known for going out. I know TDC had a heck of a deal running on their pumps. I think it was like 69.99 shipped for just the pump.

Most likely burning it up from low voltage/current. The 96/97 S-series pump wiring is marginal at best and can cause a pump to fail premature. In addition, the 255's have shown to be inconsistant in terms of reliability/longevity. I would upgrade all of the FP wiring like they do for the F-Bodies.

Thats weird the 255's run great on L's and you hear of failures very rarely.

You hear about them all the time within the f-body community. Hell, Rob gave me one to use and it had only been installed...it didn't work.

Now I have a ford pump in my car... oh boy
