Corrections Officer Craig Orrell suffered a fatal heart attack while jogging during an annual physical fitness test at the Edmundo Mireles Academy in Beeville, Texas. I don't think the cop haters want cops dead... |

None of us want to see anyone dead I'm sure.
The problem is, with some people you give them authority and training and their perception of the job that they are supposed to do evolves into what they want to believe their job is, when actually they are incapable of performing any job with any kind of integrity. Sounds like a mouth full but its the same thing with those few soldiers that join the military with honorable intentions but yet end up using their license to kill on innocent people and not the actual enemy. Cops are no different, while there are good ones that are worth well more than what their paid and deserve more respect than what they get, there's an equal amount of worthless vegetation that totes a badge.

Just when you join? |

I think harry posted the link because in the other thread it was perceived that many cops misuse their powers instead of doing good. I haven't clicked the link, but I am sure many have died while they were working

This whole discussion reminds me of Facebook post that I see all the time: "This asshole cop just gave me a ticket for going 85 in a 55, don't they have anything better to do?" or "I got fucked up last night and was puking on the sidewalk and this cop arrested be for public intoxication- what a dickhead!" Anybody see the problem with all that? LOL Last edited by WWhittle; 05-19-2011 at 10:57 AM. |

I not getting into a pissing contest about this, I wasnt even gonna post, but What alot of people are saying is just like Brandon post, I dont go out there alot most of the time im racing on saturday, but somtimes a cop can ride though there and not say anything or stop and say yall be careful and pick of your trash, then every once in a blue moon, you get a cop to come rollen threw there acting all billy bad ass telling everyone to get in there cars and move out NOW!!!!! which is BS, I understand its private property, and the point Im just saying is there is a difference, and not all the cops a DICKS, but some get a real HARD on when they feel like they can get the upper hand and just be dicks,
I didnt have a problem with leaving they told us to go and I left and went home( well after a few races against ShawnBoy ![]() But If they come out and say leave Im gone No use to ask Why or for them to give me a reason, hell been down that road before with a cop, just got done putting my tranny in my car figured I would drive it around and put some miles on the car (not doing nothing stupid) just driving, when I decided to pull over In a parking lot to just check everything over, (still not doing anything wrong, I was under my car just checking things over with a flash light when A cop rolled up and ask me what I was doing, I told him I was just checking everything over making sure there wasnt a problem, He told me to get in my car and leave, ( I was on the phone with brandon also, He heard the whole conversation,) I told the cop that wasnt a problem I would leave, I then asked him was there a reason He wanted me to leave and if I did anything wrong, boy o boy was that the wrond question to ask, he slammed his car in park, threw his seat belt off and got in my face and told me to get my ass in the car and leave that he didnt have to give me a reason, I said no problem In shock that he was acting like this, I had my hood off and was trying to put it back on the car, I told the cop that I wasnt doing anything wrong and he told me If i said another word I was going to jail, I asked him for what reason, boy o boy thats #2 wrong question to ask, he got back in my face yelling, everyone in the parking lot was just looking at this cop as he made a ass out of himself, I was trying to put the hood pins on and had a hard time because this dick head was still in my face, after I got all the pins in, and was still trying to leave and couldnt even get in my car because he was in my face, I finally go in and sat down, I then asked him what is name was, (note #3 bad question to ask a cop) He told me thats it get out the car That I was going to jail, we went back in forth I told him I wasnt doing anything wrong, that I was leaving, when I left he rode my bumper the whole way down rivers, and then floored it and passed me like a dumb ass!! I not saying all cops are bad, And Im am thankful for the ones that do there job!! so dont get me wrong Its just the ones that once they get there badge there the baddest MOFO's on the planet Quote:

You guys need to understand something. 95% of the people the police officers deal with are the scum of the earth, have attitudes, want to harm them in some way shape or form. It is rare that my wife comes home and says guess what, someone actually thanked me for doing something for them. Yes, they get paid to do the job they do. But, hear is something for you to think about. Most of the people in the world no when they leave the house that they are going to return back that evening. When I leave in the morning and tell my my good bye and that I love her, that it could be the last time I see her. All to protect ans servfe others. Think about that tomorrow when you leave and say good bye to your spouse.

Here's a thought to ponder for all the good cops out there: You know damn well who's the assholes within your ranks that abuse their authority. Don't you give a rats ass enough about the law abiding public's view of the police in general, or is it just more comfortable for ALL of you, good cop and bad cop, to just stay quiet and reap the benefits of your gifted status behind the thin blue line?
If the good cops actually outnumbered the bad cops, the force would be self cleaning. Apparently, as long as the bad cops are in the majority, the public hating machine they foster will carry on. It's not that I'm a cop hater, it's that I don't trust them as a whole. I know a few cops on a personal basis, and they are good cops. They showed me some respect in the beginning, and they get respect in return. That's how it works. Too bad there isn't enough of them.

I've never been a cop, never aspired to be one and never will, but what I do is virtually the same principal without the violence (well most of the time). I tell people they do things wrong, I give thim tickets (per say) and I can also change their lives considerably (like prison but at least they feed you) regardless if their my direct reports or even if their in a high position by causing them to loose their job for mistakes they make responsible or not. But I must do it with integrity, the law (which for me comes in the form of a code book or contract document) is what it is, I cannot take it personal or it will cloud my judgment. I cannot just look at something and say its bad or its wrong without without evidence and by no means can i attack an entire group for a single individual's mistake. I must at all times have pure intentions before making a decision regardless of any personal feelings or past experiences and especially whan it comes to someones livelyhood . This results in trust, faith and a true uncompromised direction. The opposite is a rambo, and exactly what I discribed a few posts above. "The problem is, with some people you give them authority and training and their perception of the job that they are supposed to do evolves into what they want to believe their job is, when actually they are incapable of performing any job with any kind of integrity." This results in some of the feelings and comments expressed in this and the other thread and is the complete opposite of trust.
