Went to a race yesterday. Saw this guy.
![]() ![]() He said it had pulley's, long tubes, 3.73's and a 150 dry kit. ![]() My brother was running this guy when this happened. luckly he Jesse was behind him. He watched the whole thing. Car was poping thru the carb all the way down the track. When he crossed the finnish line it caught on fire inside the car. The track has a wall at the end. He hit it at speed head on. ![]()

I love how so many of the grudge race folks put big ass motors in piece of shit cars, then wonder why things go bad.

Its a nice track, but the people there are stupid. When cars would stage. You could not see the back of them for the people standing behind them. When the car crashed it took a while for the ambalance to get to him because so many people were standing in the way, and took there time moving. Another car caught fire and the ambalance had the same problem. Cop car had the same problem. He came back and made all of the people move. He said on the PA. No one was going down the track untill everybody moved out of staging. It took at least 30 mins and even then It was half assed.

But its paying the bills down south. Most tracks survive off of grudge racing in the south. Bracket racing is good but it doesnt bring in the volume of spectators like grudge racing ask Orangeburg Dragstrip. |

it just needs to be controled more. Keep the extras out of stagging and stagging lanes. Really out of all traffic areas. And as much as I really hate to say this. Tec inspection. It would cost the tracks more, but if it keeps going like it is. Alot of people are going to get hurt and killed and in the long run it will cost the tracks more.

Thats just not true of all tracks down south. I can say for a fact. My favorite track (shady side) is not like that. Its alway packed, but people just dont get stupid like that. They are not strict at all, but if you try to get stupid they will stop you. |

Found out the guy that was in the car that crashed broke both of his legs cut off a toe and is going to loose one of his feet. Not sure if its the one that he lost the toe on. Its on grudgeracer.com.
