BAD BOB 01-08-2010 11:30 PM

BAD BOB 01-08-2010 11:31 PM

most the time if its now a drastic change it wont make that much difference in mpg. just do it anyways

LXtasy 01-08-2010 11:34 PM

you will be better in town. You will not loose any

They aren't in yet?

Are they for 7.5 or 8.8?

What did the gears came from?

BAD BOB 01-08-2010 11:42 PM

if auto u got 3.27

04ctd 01-09-2010 09:10 AM

we had 4:10's in the mustang in my Avatar,

and it gets 17mpg, almost every tankful.

it is AWESOME. it pulls great.

for a V6, i would do the 4:10's

but if you got these free, and you can get them in free by doing some swaping/trading,
i would put them in, and just run the 3:73's

free stuff has WAAAAY more SOTP :)

the v6 and v8 's had the same gears in 99-04 3.27's. I had 4.10'a in my 02 GT and still got 27 mpg onthe highway back and forth to Mobile Al. there is not much difference between the rpm's running onthe highway with 3.73's or 4.10's. since you have the 3.73's in hand go ahead and install them you be pleased.
