1. How much stall are you running on a street/strip trim?
2. What gear ratios are you running?
3. What is a comfortable combination for street/strip?
1. Some are stock converters. The ones with aftermarket cams run converters from 2,400 - 2,800, and most run PI brand. I have a 24-2,600 PI in mine. Our setups make a lot of low rpm torque so a bigger stall would hurt us.

2. 99' & 2000 model L's had 3.55 gears. 01'-04' have 3.73's. Three local trucks run 4.10's.

3. Most trucks run these setups and drive anywhere we want to go. The difference in street and "race" setups is upping the boost and timing along with higher octane fuel.
