Wade that's a hi8 camera not a dv. You could get a video capture card to upload the video off of that camera.

I wouldnt mind getting another one. Would just like to know whats the easiest to use for putting it on the computer. I dont care about fancy crap. I just want it easy to use and for it to look decent. The pic not the camera. what does dv mean?

make sure you read some reviews on it. Some people are saying it does poor in low light. Also make sure you have a computer with firewire, before buying a dv camera.

We just got a new dell with vista. I sure hope it does. I loved the old sony I had. wish I could get it fixed. It does take the same tapes as the new one.

I have a Jvc model DV something or rather. Takes pretty good video. Only thing with night shots is that it pulls in little light and makes it bright. Not the green nightvision that I wanted though. But it does the job. Records what I need at night in normal mode just fine. I paid around $400 or something for it. I think. Not really sure.
