The CJ is basically the same as the gt500 with a whipple, no interior, and some suspension mods. Its definitly alittle different in a few ways, i guess i just try to look for where the money went and i dont really see it. Because the 5.0 is making just as much power and there are CI restrictions on the classes that it was designed to compete.

Same reason chebby used the 5.7 in their "COPO" camaro race car and the CTS-V engine in the SC version instead of the 7.0.
