The intake is not a battery box. I made it myself for cold air to keep motor happy and detonation free. Yes it has a few other minor problems such as a header leak that I am to lazy to fix. And the compressor is bad for the rear air bags. For hauling heavier stuff that is. Other than that it needs a new water pump for the water to air intercooler off of a cobra or lightening. But that is all that is wrong with it. Right now I drive the truck daily with regular unleaded. And it isn't detonating. But if I were to race it I would put super unleaded in it and fix the water pump. It has the 9 pound pulley on I right now. I have a 6 pound pulley for it. It gets 18-20 mpg if you keep your foot out of it. It's a 5 speed and has a really nice centerforce clutch with the counterweights and dual friction clutch disk. It has msd coil packs on it and granatelli plug wires. Bigger throttle body and mass air sensor. Don't remember the size on either. Has a xcal2 programmer that Rick at amazon tuning solutions wrote for it. Lxtacy says that he isn't a good tuner. But there is space on the xcal to get it tuned if someone wanted to really get full potential out of the truck.

Only reason I am selling the truck is to get a dually to pull an enclosed trailer. As lxtacy stated I am going thru a divorce and I am loosing my pull truck/ wife's vehicle. So I need a bigger truck to pull with. Otherwise I would not get rid of this truck. It's too much fun stoplight racing vettes and lightenings and out running them.

I have outran several tuned lightenings and c6's in my area. Truck is fast if It would hook. But I am afraid to put slicks on it fearing I will break tranny or rearend. But it is pretty decent for a pull truck. Or farm truck as we call them around here. Round bails are where the money is at. Try pulling 5000 pounds with your tuned lightening. And tell me how it does. Yes truck could have been built to be alot faster when I built my motor. Ask lxtacy what my real play toy is. If this truck doesn't sell it will vet some trick flow heads and cams. Then a c6 tranny.
