And back around that time, autotrader 300 miles out you could get a quad cab srt10 for under 20k.....

I loathe that part of living here. Car prices is high, and really unsure of the reason.

FLA seems to have the cheapest prices around.....

I agree with you. Prices here are outrageous. If that truck was less than 20 I would be making a trip to WEST ASHLEY. One thing I think that sucks with the truck is it is a 6speed I have found some killer deals here, but most of the time dealerships want to make up for lack of sales in their next sale.

Agreed.

My g35 coupe I had. I went to 3 local dealers. Infinity of Charleston said they would "call me back" never did. Hudson Nissan said they found 5 but all were 25k+ And Moris Nissan the same....

Checked autotrader, found it in Miami FLA. 18,500. 06 g35 with 32k miles on it. Fully loaded.

Took 500 bucks to get there (needed a rental and gas, food ect....) But well worth the savings.

Lighting vs Srt10......seems like Ford just spent a bit more time thinking about it, and doing something proper. Srt was prolly getting baked somewhere and someone said "duuuuuuude lets put a lighting engine in a truck!!!"

I love both trucks, wouldn't mind owning both. However.....if you compare the lighting with the jeep srt8.......that is a whole differnt story.....I know its a suv, but still a good way to compare srt to svt. And as soon as my tbss sell's they are both in my sights.....maybe even a 5.0 brostang.

I got my jeepsrt8 for 22k. Traded the g8 for it. Over financed for 27, sold the jeep for 26.8k to rich hendrick jeep......they still have it afaik.

They asked 31k for it, a fool would do that.

I can find em for under 20k with under 60k miles.......pretty easily.
