I saw, none of them performed well at all at the track for the power they made... i think barely any of them ran in the high 10s if i remember. Only that one guy ran a 9 which was pretty decent. I think the 1000+ hp termi was having issues i remember reading. and the rest of them, some were running like 19 inch rims with street tires... stupid if your trying to set some times.

"street" cars fool, everyone knows they are slow at the track... and on the street spinning.

The white 5.0 is owned buy a guy named Chris Cruz I actually met him and got to talk to him for a while about his car this past mustang week at drag night.

Yeah, you read that right, he ran a 9.70 @ 145mph on 20" Wheels with Nitto NT05R Drag Radials...!

Might be cause mustang owners are the only ones that seem to mod thier cars. I would imagine for every 1 new camaro that gets supercharged/turboed, theres 20 mustangs. Not saying that camaro/challenger guys dont mod, but it just seems like its half the price for mustangs compared to everything for them. Cheap reliable power is the american way. Almost anyone would be happy with all of those dyno numbers on their DD.

I don't get how these high horsepower cars run so slow. My car make 451hp on the Dyno at Tuten's place and has run 10.04 in the 1/4 mile. That is on motor with a nitrous converter. The car would be a good deal quicker with an 8in motor converter.

I bet weight and 60' are the biggest factors.

My car is not light for a foxbody and the 60 ft is awful on motor. I think it ran 134.xx mph.

#1 Driver
#2 Tuner
#3 Tires

Driver, Self explanatory they probably drive a stick like me.

With the tuner part of it, Ive seen cars make a ton of HP and couldn't get out of the 12's and if its an auto its worse because if the PCM is controlling the shifts your tuner better know his stuff or you can run 12's with 10,000 HP. you've been to mustang week, most those guys spend 2 days shining the tires and doing dyno pulls only to come to Darlington on drag night where every cobra and gt500 runs 14's.

Tires..... everyone knows good years and nitto's are traction gods......NOT

I saw that when i was there, that car was pretty nasty. Everything else seemed to have traction/ driver issues.
