Chris we could have that dry shot on your truck in about 30-45 minutes. Have Randy add a little extra fuel and bingo. Some c16 and a few run, I'm sure you'll be <10.5 .. That .034 gave me 3mph in the 1/4, .042 added 5, even with only 600psi bottle pressure. That's pretty good when you consider the 4400 weight.

Once they start pushing the cage rule my 1/4 mile fun will come to a end. I honestly never see me putting bars in the truck.

I think Ill save the nitrous for my 9 second attempts and itll be a wet shot instead of a dry shot. On race gas my 1/8 mile ET isnt too far off from yours with only 3 passes under my belt so hopefully we should be kinda close in ET on the 1/4 too (although your turbo pulls pretty damn hard up top).

Yeah, ok if thats what it takes to break a 9 then I'm sure it will get done. I remember " it's just a tow vehicle and I may do cam but that's it" .

From some recent research, it may be speculation but the evidence says Chris's truck will not need nitrous to go <10.5. Just got him to get the nerve to go to a 1.4 mile track......

How much power would a set of ported stock heads, intake and matched cam be worth on your setup? I ( of little LS knowledge ) would think the short block would hold more. Put a cage with swing out door bars in it and just leave them out 99.9% of the time. Dont stop running the 1/4 for a few bars.

True true, but hey it's still a tow vehicle.. lol

Bradley heads/intake/cam would do well, but I think i'll save that for a different engine setup all together.
