Dan Whitton's car. He owns Whitton's Marine. He bought it new and has modded it ever since. He has a C6 Z06, too.

That car has been beat to hell and back, I wouldn't buy it. He's been trying to sell it for some time now too.

Kris drives the car now, his dad gave it to him when he got the Z, you obvioussly don't know what you're talking about, the car is in great shape and doesnt show the milage. We drove it to Myrtle beach and it drove like a stock vette and got close to 30mpg.

Actually I do know what I'm talking about, as I have seen him beating the shit out of it multiple times first hand. His dad let him drive the car a lot a long time ago, around '03 or '04. I didn't say it was in bad shape or is a mess, just said I've seen him beat up on it a lot.

We all beat up on our cars. It's all about how well they are fixed/modded and cared for between the beatings.

Damn I'm catching some grief. It all comes down to personal preference, I personally don't like buying cars that have been beat up on. If it doesn't bother you, more power to you. Simple as that.

My family has known Dan for years. Whereas this car is probably the cleanest vette out there, it is FAR FROM BABIED! Everytime I see it, it is driven to the floor, and I know it's had a hard life, unlike your typical corvette. Dan tried to sell this car when he bought his black c6 z06, but couldn't get what he wanted, so he gave it to his son, who apparently still can't sell it.....

A small percentage of cars on this website are not, as you call it "beat on". Carolina Horsepower is all about high performance! The original motto under the banner was "it's all about racing". This website was started because many other sites were mostly about car shows and bling, bling. This ain't a "show car" or "ricer" site.

We don't have a "how to" section asking how many batteries and flux capacitors it takes to power my stereo and neon/led lighting. We drive our cars hard.

I figured that car would be faster than low 11's.

Converter used to be a 2800, unless he has changed it. Still a 3.15:1 rear gear, though.

I would agree. Becuase im the same way. If im going to buy a car, its not going to be one thats been beat up on alot. But when buying a modded car its the chance you take.
