A 99 GTS is up there on my top favorite cars I need to own one day, followed shortly by a trip to underground racing.

My favorite paint scheme of all time if you couldn't tell lol. When I was a kid I worked at a 50s style McDonald's in anderson the owner was a huge car buff and owned a 97 gts bw. vipers actually go up in value when you twin turbo them? damn cheap ass corvette owners would only give me an extra 5k on top of trade in value.

I can relate only I dont roll a vette but same thing in the F Body world you can by a boosted camaro/bird for around 15K in great shape with under 100K but if its a low mile car unmolested they want 25plus for it, There is a fire hawk for sale on red bank on the Navy Base thats been there for over a year sign says garage kept, not now lol.

You don't see too many vipers run the times that they should for the power that they have. I'm sure the top speed is ridiculous though

Wouldn't you come close to owning one if you include the cost of the cobra and the mods done to it? I'm talking about around the 99' model year. Some can be had under 30k right?

Edit: Prices must have gone up since I looked, but ebay prices are high.
