Lt1 looks better than ls engines imo. Sound better too lol.

the LT1 accessories arent any worse than the LS engines. and all you see when looking under the hood is the alternator. not much to be ugly there.

plug wires- if its stock, you can't see any plug wires on an LT1. lol visible on an LS1, not visible on an LT1 car.

intake- looks like a tpi intake without the runners.

the LT1 is just a sbc with reverse cooling and a injected intake. pretty simple, imo. its neat unless someone has butchered the wiring or something, and its functional. the only real bad thing i can say about the LT1 is the optispark and i never had any issues with mine. overall its a very good engine. much more than what people give it credit for.

my heads/cam LT1 went 9.44@139 with some nitrous. the only parts on the engine that it did not come off the assembly line with was the cam/valvetrain, and the intake setup.
