Been there done that. Actually to be more specific vented side of block right where the oil pan meets damaging both caused by a rod that twisted and then broke about an inch from the wrist pin and again about an inch from the journal. Also one of the other pistons got reduced to the size of gravel. There were also places of missing metal up by the cam, but I don't think it got damaged.

150 shot is a crap shoot, some of them hold up, some dont. I think Brandon shot his for a while with a 125 but he wasn't making the power you were since you had ported heads and cam's.

Yeah, I shot 125 because of the intake design horror stories. I got lucky I guess, because it had 145k miles on it, and I shot it everyday.

One side will most likely be garbage. especially if you had aluminum chunks in the intake. Sorry but he havent seen to many heads survive when I motor grenades like this.

+1 Ya if you had chunks in the intake, that side didn't survive. I've had one break rods and get stuck in the bore and save the heads but there weren't no chunks in the intake.

and it could have very easily thrown a chunk or seven to the other side. Thatd be a bad day.

if the heads are fucked up im most likely going to do a 4v swap. itd cost the same if not less than buying another set of ported heads. and if i do go that route ill try to just do a ported eaton on top.

I know a guy that does good port work for a reasonable price. He just got a flow bench too!
