Oh, you mean when the ZR1 was on race tires and the Viper was on all season's? that test? lol

btw, my Challenger "monkey stomped" your vette at a red light. could have been the tires though

ZR1 on factory tires/Viper on factory tires........... Anything else is monkey with a dremel.

our cars are not apples to apples comparisons in any category. I'd monkey stomp you in the turns and you'd return the favor in the 1320.

we can pro/con all day

the undisputable fact is that the ZR1 was on a factory optioned "street tire".

Oh, something just dawned on my Ray; you're a mopar fan............ now I understand.

Don't forget that the ZR1 was a ringer because it came factory equipped with a Trunk Monkey and dremel.

it has nothing to do with me being a mopar fan, I didn't say anything when that video of the viper getting "monkey stomped" when it was posted.

I just thought I would have fun with your remark you made.

and here is the deal on the tires on the ZR1s

copy and pasted

Specific to the ZR1, the 285/30-19 front and 335/25-20 rear tires use a different compound from that of the normal PS2s (which can also be found on the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V), designed to deliver ultimate track performance while retaining the ability to last for 20,000 miles of road use. We're guessing burnouts may reduce their life expectancy substantially.

Ray, Ray, I know, I know..... I know you were picking and I'm cool with that trust me..................
That is all correct. But the tires they had on that car "are" options when ordering and "are" street legal tires you can order from tire rack.
just tossin it back to ya!

I thought the ZR1 was on production tires.

Put that FastNFurious Challenger up against his vette on a roadcourse if you want to use that analogy correctly, given this context. But even then it will be incorrect since it's supposed to be between stock production cars.

against a 3k pound car with a 50/50 weight balance 14/13" rotors with 6-piston calipers and independent suspension?????? That's not a dance you would have liked Ray.

Hate to see you sold the Challenger, was my second favorite musclecar in Charleston only to red 69Camaro with white stripes in the Low Country Musclecar club. I'd trade my car today with that guy if he was interested.

Depends if Rush Limbaugh is the one saying it, Hyosung 250r gets my vote!, Mercur would own both the ZR1 AND the Viper!, monkey stomp is racist, The mercur doesn't even need any tires to win!, what color is the monkey?, Why Jeff getting motor work done? To keep up with a heavy challenger! That's why!, Why no Hyosung test results?
