Default I love finding these type of clips

Navy ship hits massive wave!

Something about the power of the sea and how ships survive has always intrigued me. You don't see many clips like this but when you do, they are so impressive.

Badass! I love these videos too, that was a fairly small ship. Do a search on YouTube Jeff, there's a bunch of crazy videos on there.

Not so 77 cadillac'ish

Can't believe that UH-60 was still there when the mist cleared.

Holy fuck balls.... I definitely wouldn't want to be on deck during that! Shows how easy it is to understand how ships mysteriously just disappear into the ocean in history...

I recalled transiting back from Key West to Corpus Christi on a Minehunter which is 180 feet long. Weather decks secured for three days and I was aft lookout secured to a wall. The third life ring would touch the water. The waves were slamming the ship down so hard to broke bolts on the shaft and we went to one engine making things even worse. It was crazy to say the least.

I know we hit some waves a few weeks ago when we were out and the water came in through the forecastle and down into one of the forward female berthings and pretty much soaked everyone and everything in there lol

NOTHING like that though!
