They must not be that bright then, The LS mota in that thing doesnt sound like any ford I ever heard, LS motors have a distinct sound just like the old 302's have their own sound.

Never been a ford fan, but the old 5.0 with a good exhuast always sounded good at whatever rpm IMO. LS motors sound raspy until there wound up over 5.5K then they sound good.

I hear you but believe it or not that car with the long tubes x pipe and 2 chamber flows (all three inch) sounded alot like a Ford motor. Lots of people were fooled by it.

for some reason that car still sounded like a ford motor, must have been the SMMS custom exhaust

My lt1 car with dual 3 inch pipes, x pipe and 1 chambers sounded like a 5.0.
