Well, that's the one thing I don't SAIL. But I'll pass along another great deal for ya. I have purchased a few of these......great bag and even better price. Buy 8 mags for about $11 a piece, get a free bag. And free shipping as well.

Super weird/sketchy name for the bag by the MFR, but it is a great bag and it's made in the USA.

Hell of a deal.

I thought about trying those Israeli mags that PSA is selling for $7.99.

All of PSA deals get killed online for us really. The tax and shipping eats up the discounts. Can't wait for a store to be here.

Gunbot.net. Seems some cases of steel ammo for $259/1000 rounds the past few days. Don't believe the hype, it's a little dirty but shoots just fine.

Anyone on here go for a Short Barrel Rifle?

I'm about to start the whole process of attempting to get my registered.

Have a 300 Blackout 8.5" barrel that I'm wanting to run.

Anyone have any advice/comments?

I've just always wondered WHY?

I like the look but can't find the reasoning to justify it.

Really look into the 300 Blackout round and you'll find all your answers there.

Cliff Notes: The 300 round doesn't gain anything at all over a barrel longer than *roughly* 10".

One more note: I'm setting up my rifle for the 300 blackout round, 8.5" barrel with a suppressor, and its just as quiet as a suppressed MP5 with a ton more potent round in it instead of the 9mm.

Once again, if you read up a little on the potential(s) of the 300 round, you'll start to see exactly why its becoming the "new thing"...

I'm very familiar with the round.

I'm speaking of the SBR fad. For a suppressor host, sure, but even then, other than looks and "cool" factor, it doesn't make sense to me to spend the $.

Why would you need a suppressor other than to say, "I have a suppressor?"

That's where I'm going with this whole thing.

To spend $200 on a stamp for a SBR, what's really the point? The only thing I can see is to host a suppressor without making it a 20"+ rifle.

Which brings us to the suppressor debate.....why own one? Sure it's "fun" and "cool" and all, but is it really worth the $600+ for the suppressor and another $200 for the stamp?

In my opinion, I cannot see the reasoning. I'll spend that extra $ on more guns and ammo.

The fact that I already have irreversible hearing loss, and have had my hearing monitored since 1985, plus my love for shooting it all makes sense for me to pursue it. Anyone who knows me will tell you I can't hear $hit already...

And for the cool factor, absolutely not. Once again, anyone who knows me will tell you I do my own thing, and simply don't care what others think, so no, I'm not doing it for any "cool factor".

My 8.5" barrel with an SDN-6 will bring me to a 14.5" total barrel length. That's why I want to pursue it.

Anyhow, you can buy yourself more guns and what not, last time I was at the range I was only capable of firing at max two at a time as I only have two hands, just like you. I already have enough guns anyways.

Back on topic, anyone gone this route on here?

Sorry you lost your hearing, a suppressor will certainly help. My hearing is monitored every 6 months as well, and for that reason I have been using good quality in-ear and good over the ear muffs at the same time with great success for the past 4 years.

Last time I went to the range I took 14 guns, and enjoyed shooting every one of them. It's not about how many hands i have, it's how much I enjoy them. Can one ever have "enough" guns? What is enough really?

And, no, I don't think you'll find anyone on this forum with an SBR, probably not even someone with a suppressor (legal, anyway).
