Default Woke up this morning to....

A busted water heater. Flooded the master bedroom, part of the hallway, half of the kitchen and the mechanical closet. What a way to wake up EARLY on a Sunday (early is 630 on a weekend for me.)

I have a new water heater and carpet people has already been here to get 99% of the water removed and now a blower is trying to air it out. Dang. And I was going to relax toady.

FAR from a joke. I wish it was. Funny thing is . The laundry detergent sits right below the water heater. Needless to say it flooded out the box (powder detergent) and made a nice soapy slick surface everywhere.

Luckily it did not reach the furniture. Only personal property damage was about 3 magazines. That was it. Nothing else. Thank goodness

Reminds me of college when the sewer line backed up from girls upstairs flushing things down the toilet. Luckily I had shoes on but it was not cool waking up to that. Flooded the whole living room.
