Default Smoked headlights

The cobras headlights are looking pretty bad, ive been checking out the smoked headlights for replacement. Anyone have these? Any cons ? Do you notice a differance at night ?

Maybe check out a set of HID's also, can anyone recommend a good ebay kit ? (preferably from experience not word of mouth)

Thanks
Chris

What do you mean by bad? If you want to get rid of them, let me know. They may not be as bad as mine. I can ask my cousin about his HID set. He ordered them from ebay for a 4 runner. They look great at night. As for smoked, I am not sure.

I've got the smoked clear corner headlights from American Muscle on my Cobra. I also have an HID kit from Stangmods, but the kit I bought on Ebay for my Explorer is just an nice and has been fine for about a year so far. The guy I bought it from isn't a registered user anymore though. I will say with the smoked headlights the light output is a bit less so the HID's are a must, other than that I love the lights.

Just to give you heads up Chris. My younger son had smoked headlights and tail lights. North Chas. police stopped him and charged him for having illegal head lights and tail lights. Just to give you a warning, before you buy them.

He also hated night time driving. He used his high beams just so he can see the road. HID would probaby help.

Just thought I would give you some info, before purchasing.

I personally love the way they look.

The headlights were DOT legal. The tailights I am unsure of. But that was just North Charleston pushing the limits like Hanahan does.
