Default 99 MGT driver & passenger door bezels

http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/04-ctd

it is...what it is.

the silver inserts in the rear "cove" of the door were basically held in by glue, and the door bezels.

the glue dried out, and the cove took the strain, so someone put glue on the tabs.

door cups are two up from bottom.

it's easier to post that link, than to link each individual auction, those links are too long sometimes

I was just wondering where the silver parts went, that's all.

Wes, so....the color is pretty faded out, and looks to be a "dark chocolate" to me.

(thread drift imminent....)

what color carpet would be in there?

it had 135k miles, and was treated BAD. so maybe the carpet was not stock..

but it had FORD carpet in it, that said BLACK on the ford label.

i bought new carpet from LRS, and they insisted on GRAY.

it looked like crap, when i layed the door panels on it.

so i had them send me another carpet, and put black back in it

but the interior parts looked more brown than black. is that just due to age & sun fade in a convertible?

they were probably cool when new.

but they were painted, and the paint wore off.

the rear end was just stuck on with like 6 spots of glue (about size 50 cent piece)

and the front had a lip that tucked behind the door cup/bezel.

so basically, years of sun & cigarette smoke & slamming door loosened glue, so then the door cups starting falling in when you slammed the door.

so someone glued the door cups in.

so i just got new door panels out the LKQ
$9.99 each
