I can give you a run down on some things to make a 3.8 respectable and be N/A.
Longtubes, exhaust, CAI, tune, and 4.10s. Ive driven a car with those mods and on plain street tires, it went a 9.6. Thats very respectable IMO for a v6 with minimal mods. On good tires and a rear that made both of them spin , id say its good for a 9.2/9.3 how it sat. O, and this was a 5 speed car, and a girls car at that! There are also head/cam packages for a 3.8 that makes them wake up. Just research some v6 mustang boards and you will be suprised at what you find im sure. I know theres a stock internal, cammed, nitrous one that runs 12.2 in the 1/4. Thats gettin it done with a v6.
