Ive seen a few people on here looking for bulk metal. Is it that hard to come by? Ive never tried looking so dont take this as being a smartass.

There is a metal fab shop just infront of my work on trident street that you may be able to hit up. There is another one on bankton circle called master sheet metal that may be able to help.

Oh there is another big one across the street on the same road as bouschlons (sp) but on the opposite corner.

Its the price, and most of them scrap more than we would consume, but they get big money for selling that stuff. The one by boushillon is one of our parts suppliers, I forget the name. Ive been there though.

You can buy sheets of different steel, tin, aluminum at Lowes, but the biggest sheet I've seen is like 3'X4'.

Yup thats it.... Master sheet metal was a ductwork shop I thaught? American Screwpipe and handrail lol good luck with that Sam aint coming off nothin for free. leatherwood was? or is an electrical contractor I think the only steel they deal with is galvanize cable tray lol.

Not sure about lowes, but charleston steel would probably be where i'd start and frishcorn for the round stuff.

A & R Sheetmetal on Main Rd. Johns Island may be able to help. They can make anything and probably get anything.

They do good work. But I do not think they will sell the sheets outright. But will fab up what you need though.
