Default directions to Bowman - ~50 minutes

if you follow the directions on their site, you have to figure out it is talking about exit 153. that's just too far.

we went last week, and just got off on some exit that said bowman, like 159 or something. and we had saved the location in our GPS last year, so we just navigated towards the dot on the map. it was much quicker that way.

so coming home, we set the GPS for "shortest"
and it had us come right out of the racetrack onto(berrywood) , take a right onto Tradewinds, and down to 178 (charleston highway)

took a left on 178 towards charleston
we rolled down 278 to highway 210 (Vance Road) and caught I-26 at exit 165. (signs for 210 were big)

so, coming from charlestion,
take 1-26 to exit 165, get off the exit, go left (back across the interstate)
and take 210 (vance road) towards Bowman.

when you get in town, turn right on 178 (all the numbered highways have big signs out there)

and then go straight a long ways, and there is a 1 foot by 1 foot sign that says "drag strip" at the corner of Tradewinds. tradewinds has a street sign name, also

and another dragstrip sign at the corner of berrywood.

thats a LOT shorter to me

It's not much difference time wise.

I have been both ways, and I like taking exit 154 B.

A few moths ago I left the track the same time as a few other guys, and I was 2-3 miles ahead of them at the Summerville Exit when I called them.

Another hint is right past that FANCY school is the road you turn of onto your right (vance road) You will see the sign. On the corner of the road is a nice 2 story house in which it appears to have a "lane paved" in its front yard off the road for the mailbox.
