That guy would rather have "Car Show Wheelie Bars" than a fake sunroof.

Hell I'd rather ride around scraping the ground in my low rider than have a fake sun roof .

And JR didn't you know wheelie bars are mandatory on all mid 6 second camaros because they might stand up .

no but they will prevent looking at the sky and coming down hard because i turned one knob on the suspension wrong.

oh and i know you are the all know god of chevy suspension now jeff but i know of 4+ cars that have had to rebuilt a motor and pretty much underside of the car because of that mistake, and guess what they only ran low 10's high 9's. but you know this.....

Well Paul all you have to know is suspension . Keep the front end tied down and the struts a little firm it's only common sense and don't forget about the rears as well . Hey Paul I know of 4+ mustangs that have had the same thing and the reason why is because they were fucking dumbasses with the struts all the way lose to show off , and oh not to mention to soft of a spring on the coil overs . But hey I don't know shit you know it all since your car is being built by a race car shop .

I'm willing to bet your car won't even hit the friggin wheelie bars running high 6's .

i was joking about the high 6's. you should know that.... again, you ever heard of the guy next? he has a red SS and he was running high 9's low 10's when he did this....

i can show you video's and other cars as well if you like. all of them were setup up by professionals, next's car was setup up by a guy named madman who is a well known and sought after suspension guy. when he did that wheelie he turned one knob on his QA1's in the rear and that was the result. can people do it without wheelie bars? of course all day long. am i willing to take the chance and do something wrong and put it on the bumper and wreck my k member, oil pan, front suspension, tranny and motor? fuck no.

also none of you know my entire setup so unless you have been there while the car is being built you should really just keep your mouth shut about things you don't know. talk the crap while it isn't running because what can i do about it? nothing. but when it comes out i really hope you are willing to back it up, because i am not worried about my car having trouble.

I'm not say it can't happen . Are you going to be running big tires ( 28" slicks )? Are you going to be shooting your 5,000 shot of gas all from home ? Besides you have a street car don't you ? So I know your going to be running a DOT tire . Again I bet you will not even hit the wheelie bars !

I see the car you posted was running at a real track Commerce GA , so that explains the hook . If you have your suspension set up for a not so great hooking track then all of sudden got to a real track shit can go to the bumper .

if i never hit the wheelie bars then great, but i am not willing to take that chance. this car is going to be setup to dead hook on the street and track, i will be doing alot of suspension tuning and tweaking to make it hook how i would like. once again though none of you know exactly the setup i am running or what i am shooting for so please save the useless comments unless you have a clue. jeff, i've told you some about the setup so i assume you would understand where i am coming from... but i guess you are just someone willing to take the risk of a costly mistake. like i said already, guys have and can run similar/same setups without any problems but that doesn't mean i am willing to risk it.

by the way i am running a dot tire, stock wheel wells, stock style suspension, shooting from home with an "undetermined" amount of nitrous.
