Just wanted to say a public thank you to Mitch for helping me with my 2004 FX4, it is running sweet! JDM Custom tune that Mitch had them do for me was great, I did not think my truck at this altitude (Colorado) could run that much better, I was wrong............Looks like my fuel mileage is going to increase as well..........
I am the first owner of the truck and it has never done better than 14 or 15 MPG average.........and after about 1/4 tank after playing around on the first tank it appears my mileage is going to increase significantly, I will update on what it gets later next week. Future upgrades are the Cobra R, Efans or EFAN have not decided which one yet and possibly the Detroit truetrac Mitch was telling me about. Thanks again Mitch, Excellent advice and it works as advertised!!! Take Care all, Dan....(Lurches Cousin from Colorado) Now if I can just get Mitch to supe up my SCOOTER!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!! |

Dan,
Welcome to the site. Mitch has helped me a few times with my truck. When he's at the track he's always willing to lend a hand. That's what makes this site cool. Everyone will help you as much as they can even though we are all trying to out run each other. |

Thanks for the welcome Mike, I wish I lived closer to Mitch, I would love to just hang out and see the trucks he has been working on and learn a few things, I am an aircraft mechanic in the reserves but this is whole different ball game............
I would love to see what Mitch could do with one of those trucks up here at our altitude, if you can make it go fast here it will be a ROCKET at sea level......kind of like long distance runners training at high altitudes and then going down to sea level and running like the wind! I am very happy with my F150 now, I already loved it but now it is just plain a kick to drive, I cant wait for the first stock hemi to pull up next to me at a light to see how it compares, I live close to Bandimere Speedway maybe someday I will take my truck up there just to see what it will do when I am done doing all the upgrades, I am sure it will seem slow to you all but I am not looking for the times you guys and or gals are pulling, I am about performance and fuel mileage........If I break it the wife will shoot me!! LOL!!!!!!!!!! |

To answer your question 03 Turtle a long time ago I would have been able to make MONEY ANGELS among other things like being deaf in one ear from listening to all the talking and tendentious of the thumb from answering the cell phone. P.S. Mike you have done a great job in your spare time.
