Default Couple of Head to Head Pics

Got bored and lined my cars up for a pic.....just wish I had a better back ground.

GN is about as modded as I plan on getting her. Might move up from the current 66BB turbo to a 70mm BB turbo one day. The Cobra is still stock, has 2k miles on it. I'm going to put some DR's on it, pulleys and a tune. That should pep her up a bit.

honestly man.. look into the new borg warner 300 series(372r) or the new new billit borgwarner for that gn. u may need to call specifically for the billit as i know they arn't listen yet but they do exist and i know a 72mm extended tip is already on the skreets..

another option is the new percision dbb72 which is also a billit wheel. smallest ar is a 84 and their are a few gn guys i know running them making 850 on pump gas. i can get you the exact number of the percission if you want.. the percission is the new oil oil cooled (no water) center cartrage not the old garrette ones.

on but on the real that snake looks sexy as fauk i cnat get over the look.. i kinda wish the whole car followed the theme it just kinda gets boring on the side.

lucky man tho killer collection. if you need any help with a turbo hollar i got a buddy who does r&d at borg warner/airwerks

Thanks........the 66BB on the GN has the F1 compressor wheel........I got it from Percission..............It's a Turbonectics Turbo.......It's only rated at 675HP though. I have a 3200 PTC in the GN. No problem spooling this turbo, but the 70 to 72mm usually call for a 3400 stall or better (even though a BB Turbo spools faster).......but I may just check into that one day..........your contact would be appriciated though.

Thanks.....this is a better pic of the Cobra, still getting some window tint, wider DR's for the rear wheels and the two scoops for the sides (Qtr window & side scoop). Other than that some pulleys and a tune should pep it up a bit.....I think about 150 more HP to the wheels........just gotta make my wife believe the parts are for better gas milage........I don't think she will buy that though.......................lol

Looking good, Audie. Anytime you want to take both cars out to the track, I will be more than happy to help out with driving the Shelby.

Just had a guy into work yesterday telling me about mods on his '10 GT500. Did a CAI, pulley and conservative tune; and is now over 600.

That is a big concern..............but with pulley's and a tune you can return it to stock form without too much hassel.............we talked briefly about this same issue at your son's (Hal) Shrimpkabob Fest Party. OH yeah................forgot to compliment Hal on the new graphicially intense aesthetic creation that he has going on outside his domain...........adds some much needed pizazz to our area in general. It's hard for me to fathom exactly why some folks don't enjoy, or are to shallow to appriciate the true intrinsic value that them burnout marks add to the immediate community................it's like Art-in-Motion. :-)

I wouldnt bet on that Ive already been down that road with the L and my warranty wouldnt cover a new PCM because it was tuned even though I guarantee the tune isnt what made the PCM go bad. Even though I retuned it to stock Ford/SVT could still see that the PCM was modified and kicked the bill back to the tune of $900.

How they get you is the computer stores max rpm. The first thing most tuners do is up the red line a couple hundred rpms

It also timestamps when it was modified IIRC based on what I was told but that was about 4-5 years ago. Randy seems to think there is a way around this but he hasnt elaborated on it yet to me.

Buy another pcm and tune it. And swap it back before going into the stealership.

Thats the other way around it but that way is expensive. Especially for a GT500 I cant imagine there are many extras laying around. If they are anything like the L's the PCM is MY specific too.
