Default Jet ski's

Anyone here ride? We have about 7-8 in the group right now and are looking for more people to ride with. We should be going out this weekend if anyone wants to join. Either the Ashley or Tail Race.

Yep.

We usually put in at my boat club on the Stono and run the creeks or go out to Folly and jump the waves at the the lighthouse.

Just dropped mine off at Chas. Powersports this morning because it developed a miss at low rpms. Hopefully it's just a coil pack.

Morris Island area sounds like a fun idea. We will have to give that a try.

I need to replace the fuel lines on my ski because they are the old grey "tempo" lines that deteriorate. Maybe I can knock it out this weekend.

Let us know if you ever want to ride and we can get up.

was reading on that one. Supposed to be the fastest production ski, but its limited to 66mph...to make the coast guard happy. Im sure there has to be a way to remove that.

My 2001 gtx will do 59-60 all day and I only gave $1500 for it. Some can run mid 70s.

Bombardier makes rxps and I think kawa makes a 3 seater. Kind of a toss up between the two. A family member had multiple rxp's, both 2 and 3 seaters they would do 70 all day.. He had problems keeping them together the superchargers on them were coming apart. Came apart on 3 of them they covered it under warranty but missed weeks of the season. Biggest PIA. Sold them to a guy in Sullivans island and not a month later another one went out. Fun as hell when they werent broken.

If you want a fast stock one with a lot of potential get a gp1300r. I've got a 2000 seadoo gts 3 seater. I paid $400 for it with a trailer and it runs and floats. But it's ugly as hell.

There are plenty of upgrades for skis to go faster. 70+MPH GPS verified is pretty easy, but expensive. How often do you guys ride? I may get one. I had a 1 seater blaster for wave jumping but sold it.

I plan to ride every weekend possible. At least twice a month for sure.

Neighbor has a 1300 Honda turbo with CDI box, intake grate, intake, exhaust, and impeller upgrade and does 73-75 in cold water, 69-71 in summer.

That's rolling! I'm tempted to buy an impeller for mine.
