Default My 1991 coupe project

I will be moving in literally 2 weeks and have no chance of finishing this car. few of you have seen it andit's a o.k. car with lots of potential.

It has: 160 mph speedo and was a state patrol car
- 8.8 with Trickflow girdle, 31 spline Mosers, 3.73s, new poly bushings
- Newish Team Z tubular k-member
- new Team Z A-arms
- new Team Z caster/camber plates
- adjustable coilovers on front, needs new struts
- aftermarket lowers with stock uppers in the rear
- New poly rack bushings
- 94/95 gray seats, new black carpet

I will sell it 3 ways:

1st: with everything I have for it and the wheels and tires that are on it. I have a complete fuel system, carb, 308 with Erson Aluminum heads and a 94/95 T5 with Centerforce clutch.

For it this way I will take $4,500 which I know is not cheap, but it's much less than what I've got invested

2nd: As a roller with nothing else that isn't bolted on the car. That is also without the wheels, I have some spares you will get it on those
$2,000

3rd: without the wheels, but with the 308 and T5.
$3,000

I will post up pics and answer any questions when I get back home Sunday or Monday.

Nathan

I'm going to start working on getting it up and running this weekend if I still have it. Once it's up and running I doubt I will be taking it back apart and selling it as a roller.

Fuck it, I'm just going to finish this car once I make it back home. Less than a weeks worth of work and I'll have another ride. It's worth what I'm asking and I need money for a down payment on a house, so I guess it's not really for sale anymore at this time......not that anyone was interested....

It isn't a bad looking car. One day I wouldn't mind having a nice fox body, but then again maybe not.

I've had a bunch of them, but I never really seem to ever finish any. If I'd just leave them alone instead of changing everything I might wind up being able to actually enjoy one.....I'm going to do my best to get all my cars going and sold. I want to buy a house soon....

That has been my problem. Get one close and sell or trade it for some other project. I am sticking this one out though and you should to! I can understand buying a house, I did a few years ago and it put my hot rodding on hold for a while but I kept the car and work on it as I can now. Dont sell this car. 2-3-4k would help in the initial purchase of a house, but in the grand scheme of things is not a lot of money. Keep the car, put it under a tarp till you can afford to work on it again.

I'm not going to keep this car. Honestly I never intended to..... I've had my '70 coupe since 2001 and I'm going to get rid of all my other projects and then once I own where I live I'll get to work on the '70 again. I've just got to much shit and to many projects.

This car is not bad at all, has zero rust, and the body is straight. Running and driving I know without a doubt it will bring $5-6 K easy.

Well, it looks like I will be keeping it a bit longer. Plans changed, yet again.

I'm pulling the 308 and T5 back out and putting the 308 back in my '70 coupe along with a freshly rebuilt AOD (My buddy Jerry will be building next week....hopefully). the t5 will be used in another car that i just got, an 88 Mustang coupe roller. All the good parts and the engine from my '85 coupe will be swapped into the 88 coupe, because it is a much better car and has a clean title.

I wonder if Redline Performance can get me a deal on a set of pistons for my 374 SBF motor.....

Decide what part number you want and we can get you a price.

Oh, and I've already got a parts car, that 85 coupe..........
