wel i took it to test the 7.0 set up because i put 29.5s on it opposed to the 28s and just wanted to take it and make sure everything was ok and plus i havent raced since we went to orsca and i was going through withdrawls haha. but off the trailer i cut a 004 light and went a 7.01 so thought that was decent and then i backed it up with a 009 and went 7.03. the track seemed to be working so i took out the weight and adjusted what needed to be adjusted and first pass it carried the tires so high couldnt see the midway water tower. short shifted and pat pat patted the gas and finally came down. next pass i tighted the shocks down and left prolly waist high and i carried it on through felt good.

Call me a noob, but foot-brake is all I know. In what way would a delay box help your light? You still need to release the button at the right time. Correct?

I think your foot is a lot slower mashing the happy pedal than releasing a button with your thumb at the first light on the tree.??

Correct! a delay box delays the time from when you let go off the button til the time to go. you still have to get in the lights the exact same way and let go of the button the same way everytime but i can do it any way ive won bracket race both ways.

there is a little more to it than that- you can fine tune those things to the point that you cut .00 lights every time. just ask yourself this- if it didn't help, why does every bracket car have one?

but Robert can do it either way- i was just pickin at him.

well not every one has one thier are two different classes but its like going to a gunfite with a cap gun if you dont have one in a class where one is aloud. the biggest thing about the delay box is you have to roll into the beams everytime the same way or you will be in left field a inch to far or a inch backward will make alot of difference
