Default Bowman April 25th

Had a good time even though my car didn't want to stay together until the last pass. I finally had a halfway decent pass on the last run. It was good to meet you guys, had a blast! I'll be getting some new tires and giving it another shot next month. How did everyone fair? It looked like you lightnings were hookin up.

On a side note, I'm not a fan of the track not displaying the time or the other racers info. Whats the deal with that anyways? I'm not from around here, but all the tracks I've been to up in VA/North Carolina have the times displayed.

I had a good time I didnt run what I normally do and wasnt as consistent as usual that was more than likely due to the heat but had fun either way. I do think that the track needs a few improvements but for a smaller local track it was pretty good.

Thanks Dave for taking on Chef duty!!!

90% of the tracks around here are gruge tracks, and 90% of the time the racers have N/T (no time) on their windshields. I'm sure the tracks feel that if 90% of their patrons have N/T on their windows, why bother with a scoreboard?

Had a blast! Got a new best and got the suspension dialed in... Too bad for the heat!

I wasn't aware thats what the N/T was for. Hell, they put that on my car. I could care less if everyone seen what I ran. Best run was a 7.1 @ 99mph with a shitty 1.65 60'

I'm hoping with some good tires and some suspension work I'll be in the mid to low 6's as long as I can keep the damn intercooler pipes on. I might have to get a boost controller and turn up the boost a few pounds. My runs were off of the wastegate spring and the max I seen was 8.2 but it was hanging around the 6-7lb range the whole run. I'm guessing burst knock is taking my timing too. Out of the 14 degrees commanded I was only getting 9-12 degrees logged. The other three runs there was so much crap that had went wrong, I couldn't use the data that was logged.

I'll probably have everything to go and ready sometime next month or early June to go again.

Had a great time today and can't wait for the next one. Hopefully the blazer will be tuned and not running 10:1 a/f. Once its figured out she should be able to hit low to mid 10's in the 1/8th.
