#1 qualifier, Low ET of event, smashed the MPH record again at 157.45 mph (previous was 151.69) but spun the tires in 2nd round and lost.

3rd round of qualifying Saturday night it stood up and when it came down it smashed the oil pan and broke the steering rack. We worked until 4am, slept for about 3 hours and then was back at it Sunday morning to get it fixed. I cranked it back up 20 minutes before first round of eliminations, went straight to the lanes, and backed up the MPH record. Needless to say, I was just happy to make the call....

It is going to be about a $2-3k wheelie so I hope someone got a picture. LOL.

I think I left there still #1 in points, not sure though.

Yeah, his flashes are actually cordless. There was one sitting by my back tire, one sitting by the front corner of the car and he had one on his camera. I have never seen a setup like that before, but I really don't know anything about phtography. He does take some awesome pics.

Based on my driveshaft RPM there is no way my car went 157mph. I don't know how it happened twice, but it's not right.

Oh well.

don't the tires balloon and increase in circumference at speed?

would that account for it?

plop it all in a spread sheet, and play with till you find the extremes, then your answer is in the middle somewhere

(oh crap, i am on here, procrastinating my math homework again....)

I don't need a spreadsheet, i have enough sensors on my car that if i farted the computer could tell you what i ate for lunch. the data and my back half time tell the story, and it doesn't equal 157mph.

i wish it would go that fast with the small turbo!

Now get back to your homework!!!
