Looks like a nice clutch, have not heard much about it. Capable of handling
920 lb/ft so it can't be all bad.

Take a look at McLeod's twin disc.

Is Shane doing a build-up ?

Nothing serious...Aluminator long block, SCT tuner, PSR K member, coil overs, MM caster cambers and looking for a new clutch now. Bought a spec3+ and hate it. Before the deployment is over I will also have new black 03/04 Cobra rims with new tires. Tired of the black dd fr500s. This clutch is said to hold my 600 with ease plus drive in traffic like a dream. Still running my 2.2 for now but might upgrade one day. Need to be more concerned with suspension and seat time with the 600rwhp than more power. When I get back home a few guys and I are headed to the hobby shop with both my 04Mach1 and 04Cobra and we are gonna swap out the IRS for the SRE. -Shane

I had a brand new Zoom clutch come apart on me at 600 miles on it. It was in my friends 94 LT1 Formula. He had a shop put it in and put 500 break in miles on it. We were driving around one night and another one of our friends wanted to race he wanted me to drive it and see what I could do. It held good on the 1st to 2nd WOT shift but from 2nd to 3rd it came apart. I had heard they were good for that coming apart. He got his money back and went with a Centerforce dual friction.

Zoom is popular with the non performance classic car guys but I've never heard of them running in high end cars. I can't say enough about the Centerforce DFX. Excellent on the street and hooks great on the track. Not sure if you upgraded yet, if you go above 550hp, definitely invest in a 26 spline Liberty input shaft and stronger ARP flywheel bolts, ARP 2000 hardware for the bottom end as well.

Muti disc is the way to go, it will definitely hold the power to that solid rear! Consider a locker upgrade and 3.73 is about the best gear for the street and track. I recommend 31 spline or larger.

Think a little about safety to. A 10pt roll bar with 5pt harness should protect u from the HP if something goes wrong.
If you go with a blower upgrade, don't.. A good single turbo kit is the way to go. BUT, if u stick with a blower then by all means the "mammoth" from KenneBell is a great huffer.

The Aluminator is an excellent engine. I'm excited for you Shane. Your ride is going to be amazing!

Thanks Scotty..def some good points to ponder. I doubt I will go with a bigger SC and turbo sounds better all the time. Not the rite time for me but this guy is selling his brand new twin 61mm turbo set up for an 04 Cobra for 4 grand. I wish...doubt he would have it by the time I saved up enough for it. This deployment is already half way over.

Hell I'm a turtle if your talking to me. I bet my old auto GT Mustang would run a faster time than me in my Cobra! I need ALOT of seat time with the new setup when it's done. Maybe when I get back to SC I'll be in the 9's ..in the 8th The Spec3+ I had was a nightmare to drive..it was either there or it wasn't. That is a pain in the ass when you drive it around havin to dump the clutch every time you take off. I think it was jacked up or they didn't break it in rite. Needless..gonna try something different. -Shane

Drove a turbo RSX with an ACT stage 4 and it really wasn't too bad for a single disk. very easy to drive on the street.

Already responded on FB Shane, but for the money those Zoom twin disk clutches are I say no. The Mcleod RXT and RST are a good bit cheaper and proven to be incredible clutches for big power. The DFX will hold it, but they are a tough and pia clutch to drive around on the street. As I mentioned on FB the Fidanza 4.3 is pretty popular and is what Jason is putting in his 750+rwhp Turbo Comp O car. My Centerforce LM has taken a beating so far and you know my old Centerforce DF definitely gave me my money's worth.
