Default Input shaft splines?

Well, the throwout bearing on the Mustang is making noise, again. Not under warranty this time, though. Since I will be doing this myself, I may as well replace the clutch (70k on the original). Wondering about the spline count on the input shaft though. I guess there can be either 10 or 24. Which one is it? It is a 2003 GT with a T3650 trans.

Thanks in advance.

Robert, I could; but I am thinking about getting a Ford Racing clutch, instead of a Sachs one. Unless, of course, you O'Rielly's people have good things to say about Sachs clutches. I just don't want to spend $400+ (with my discount) for a Ford clutch.

Just buy a spec 2, or 2+, and be done with it. I believe they are around 220ish shipped. Comes with everything you need.

Just went with the Sachs. Not planning to add anymore power to the Mustang, or do any serious racing with it. Will be fine for just driving around. Thinking about getting rid of it in the next 6-9 months, anyway.
