our UAV models are made the same way. I have one here at home on my desk of the AAI RQ-7B Shadow 200. We didn't have a need for moving parts except for the prop but the model looks identical to the real aircraft.

We were told they were made that way but none of us ever got to see the process b/c we paid another company to make them. Now I've seen it done. That was awesome!
