While I would never intentionally initiate or provoke such an encounter with a powerful dog, I will say that if a threatening dog shows aggression towards me in a place I have a right to be, I will protect myself up to and including killing the dog.

Had the cops not felt the need to get in the last word in the video, the situation would have never escalated into what it ended up being.

i cant figure out why these guys have to have pit bulls/rott's/etc. whats wrong with getting a normal dog? oh yea, its because they don't want a DOG, they want a badass killing machine.
neighbor's terrier got mauled by a pit bull the other day. $1500 in medical bills so far. some guy living one street over is breeding them, and one of them got out of the fence. it has made me very uneasy feeling with the kids playing in the yard. i dont like the damn things regardless of "how sweet they are".

Female pitbulls are good dogs. Male pits are aggressive.
