Ford 9in housing

I got a ford 9in housing with no brackets on it, ill take 175 for it

Man I wish I could find one with Fox Chassis brackets for that cheap.

you can weld the brackets on and be done with it

I cant find them. I have looked on the net and cant find anyone that sells what I think are the correct brackets. IF you know where to find the correct brackets to put it in a fox.. im interested.

couldnt you just cut the brackets off of the stocker 8.8? correct me if im wrong..

The upper brackets on the 8.8 are cast.. made onto the housing not a separate piece that is welded on. Lowers would be no problem, its the uppers that are a sumbitch.

I looked all over autowelds site and didn't see where i could buy just the upper control arm mounting brackets to weld to a 9 inch housing.

i will try to find out where Sheppard got my brackets. they just finished all that on mine not to long ago.

Thanks. It would be easier for me to do the 9 inch swap this way.. buy the housing and brackets now, save for getting it narrowed, save for axles.. just cant spend that much coin at one time on it.

I had thought about that. BUT.. with the aluminum drive shaft in a fox car that is lowered.. there just isn't ANY room in the trans / drive shaft tunnel for a torque arm. Now I'm thinking this because I have not seen one for a Mustang that wasn't built like the F-body car's torque arms. If there are other options I'm open to those.

Also..how is this going to work for drag racing? I thought this set up was more suited for road / Corner cars.
