It goes back to the age ole debate, can a v6 make the same power, and react the same as a big ole v8. How can a brand new sti get to 0-60 faster than my car stock? Its all in the way it was designed. Would I rather have a turbo'ed porshe, or vette? Neaither because its a bunch of 50-60somethings who own them, or its a punk kid who just got enlistment bonus. I am not with that. But yes, the vette is a gas guzzling fat whore

09 vette: 3300 lbs, or there abouts.
Thats a bit of a difference, but power wise, as mine sits, i'd tear a vette up stock, and slightly modded. And mine still costs 20,000+ less......

I doubt a vette and g8 will be a good comparison. c4's yes. a c5 z06 NO. Maybe a c5 345 hp base vette. I have been looking at c5's and c6 vettes base and zo6s and driven SEVERAL a stock 345 hp c5 "base" is impressive.

Who are you kidding? The only cars I see you beating at Dorchester is Honda's and a Legacy Subaru. And you don't beat them all the time. I even seen you get you ass cut by a Chevy Duramax pick up. I am not a GM guy by no means, but the Corvette is one of the few supercars that doesn't have to pay gas guzzler taxes. Hell when I had my Marauder it would run 9.13 completely box stock, and you are barely in the 8's with a supercharger, please! Plus the Marauder was 4400 plus pounds. If you want to test that theory I know where there is a stock Marauder with a supercharger, that will take it to your ass, in a non-gay way of course. And this deep down desire to have man sex and lube hairy body shit, is something you need to keep to yourself..
